Snapshots of My Life

My feet hurt. We've been been running around a lot.

I took this pictures for my husband. He LOVES palm trees and this is a particularly beautiful one because it is perched just above Spring Lake on Camp Taqaddum, Iraq, a Marine and Army base that sits between Ramadi and Fallujah.

These sit just to the right of the Palm Tree. I'm not sure of their significance here but for me, it's all about Faith. Sometimes, you've just got to have Faith.

Well nice pics of your feet...I am sure they do hurt! I was hoping that you had time to post the pic of the day and glad to see you are ok...I love you and miss you..I think about what you might be doing at any given moment while I am at home, at school, or especially driving...I can't relate and I know that..but these pics help me to know that you are ok and give me comfort and as intended, a peek into your everyday life...thank you for these more than I can tell you. Package on the way....hope you like it..

I don't know you at all, and I somehow feel as if I'm eavesdropping on conversations between loving family and friends, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for being there. For what you're doing. And for sharing your life on this blog.

Praying for you, your comrades, and your family and friends.

May God continue to protect you.

It is good to see an update Addie and to know you are safe. You remain in my prayers and as the above writer said, even though I don't know you, I want you to know I am grateful for your service to our country.
On another note, my Mom's maiden name is Collins.
God bless you dear one, and keep you safe from all harm.

It doesn't look like your boots are tightened enough. Tighten them up soldier or drop and give me 20!
